We understand why it bothers some writers. Being pigeonholed often sets limits on who will read certain books. And it's never that pleasant to be labeled as if only one characteristic defines who we are as individuals. However, we don't much worry about it. Our books seem to find their way into a larger and more diverse audience every day.
